Tierra Description – In the
Future
by Kevin Hines
Firstly her name is
Tierra. Two Rs. I know that is Spanish for earth, that was deliberate. After
all she worshipped Grumbar early on. And was raised underground, and was likely
named by the knights that rescued her.
Again I always regretted
the decision I made at the end of the epilogue campaign we did, where Tierra
was offered to be made into an angel. I realized afterwards I was caught up in
the moment, and I think she would have politely refused. She could do more good
on earth. So my description of her is as a non-angel cause that is how I
picture her. But if she is an angel, she likely still acts very similar to the
following.
If she is still human,
she likely still rides her Unicorn. I forget his/her name. It may have been
Viento, going with the Spanish theme, but maybe Aira would be better. I think
that is it Italian.
Also, I would like her
to have a band of soldiers. Not followers so much as keepers of the faith. All
women fighters. Valkyrie of a sort.
Obviously she is always
beautiful, I mean come on. This is Tierra. She is like Michelle Pfeiffer, she
always looks good. But lets go into a little detail.
The key to Tierra is
earthen tones.
Brown hair. Not blonde.
Brown Eyes. Not Blue.
Her Long Brown Hair
seemingly glows. Her face is unblemished despite the harsh battles she has been
in. Her face is soft when in conversation, but can be menacing with anger when
needed. She can do it all emotion-wise.
She wears rose petal
shaped armor. She used to be able to generate this from her sword. She may have
lost this ability after the campaign, and if so, I think Galen would have
commissioned a real armor version of that petal armor to be made. It would have
a pinkish hue, though lightly, as it is more metallic then pink. She wears a
brown cloak with a small symbol of Rowan used as a clasp. Attached to her belt
(as a clasp for the belt perhaps) is a symbol of Grumbar, who likely still
feels scorned, but he still is remembered in Tierra's heart. Its not often (if
ever) that Grumbar and Rowan intersect.
If she still has the
holy symbol (Leur Talisman) and ivory and ebony sword (I forget the name of the
combined sword), then she also has those. The Holy Symbol she would wear
underneath her shirt. Not showing it off. And the sword is sheathed on her
side.
If for some reason she
no longer has those artifacts, she would have a necklace of Rowan crafted in
Barovia in place of the Leur. Also, for a sword, that would be simple. No
frills. None. It would be quality, high quality, but nothing as elaborate as
her armor. Which she wears more to inspire and is actually a bit uncomfortable
with. Not that her lack of comfort shows. She has grown into her leadership, at
least on battlefields.
She has tattered
wrappings for gloves on both her hands. No finger coverings, and you might not
even notice them if you were not studying her very closely. These are the only
remains of her adventuring outfit.
Also on her off-hand
(left) she wears a bracer. The bracer has a series of images engraved on it.
At the top (closest to
her hand) is a wolf's head. Next is the symbol of the Rune college (I assume it
had a symbol). Then a tree.
Obviously these
represent Galen, Perrin and Daryuun (Andy,Adam, and Ferd). Hellez and Kartus
(Wookie and BigKev) are not represented because they both betrayed her trust
with their allegiances.
