Most Reverend Lord High Illuminator,  Antos Kaine,  August 23, The One Thousand and Seventy Fifth Year of our Lord and His Most Holy and Majestic Emperor

It has come to my attention that a certain General Jersham, an Imperial Military Advisor of considerable seniority, has been rather vocal in matters that seem to edge on the blasphemous, in my most humble opinion.   This general has been seeking support for the inclusion of wizardry and other sorcerous abominations in the Darnician Armed Forces. It was indeed foresightful and wise of Yourself to have sent I and other agents of the Order of Illuminators to investigate the dealing of the High Command.  Though many are loyal Children, there are some who clearly have subverted their souls from His path.  This Jersham is the worst amongst them, and his attempts to turn the unholy machinations of sorcery into a regular practice amongst our brave soldiers makes the elevated status which he currently enjoys quite a liability.  Jersham is a dangerous and vile blasphemer.  I and my comrades humbly seek your permission to eliminate this threat.  I understand, of course, that given the culprits political status, you might prefer more delicate methods than a fair trial followed by a burning at the stake.  We submit to you greater judgement on how best to handle the matter.  Please send a reply at your earliest convenience.  I should also take this time to mention that that young new agent, Katern Mattocks, has proven to be most able and zealous at rooting out the Heretics that pollute our fair land.  It was on his advice that I began to discover the hateful dealing of this General Jersham, and he is to be highly commended.

                                Your Faithful Servant,

                                 Illuminator Johann Raymonde
